Chairman's Message

It is indeed a great honour and responsibility to chair the School Committee of SVM English Medium School. As rightly said by Mr. Nelson Mandela “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. We at Shardashram Vidyamandir School wish to align ourselves with the same by giving the child a new horizon in education.

Students today have an unquenchable thirst to seek knowledge that cannot be satiated by traditional methods of imparting education like rote learning and passive listening. With the paradigm shift in the field of education, children at SVM will be provided with opportunities and situations that facilitate them to exhibit their hidden potential to the fullest.

Differentiated learning and teaching strategies along with an inclusive approach are at the core of the curriculum.

We recognize SVM School is uniquely different from other schools due to its mission. The school aspires to truly secular and democratic values to serve a transcendence in India.

Academics at SVM School is a distinguishing characteristic. It challenges the intellect and nurtures the potential of each student to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to become thinking and responsible citizens. Excellence in academics at SVM inculcates lifelong learning in the students.

Sports has been an integral part of SVM School education. Participation in sports keeps young minds and bodies engaged positively and helps in the development of the child.

Additionally, the co-curricular program is perhaps the soul of SVM School where the aim is to promote the spirit of exploration, curiosity, character development, team building, leadership, and overall empathy for all.

In SVM School, the students are given equal attention in the field of academics, co-curricular, and sports activities. Besides our students we inspire all our other stakeholders, be it the Teachers or the Parents to continuously upgrade and be sensitive to our students’ needs at School and at home. We believe that the student’s most formidable years in life are spent at SVM School. Child’s world is very much influenced by the school environment as they spend most of their childhood in school. Thus, schooling has the greatest influence on an individual’s life. It should enable the child to blossom into a well-balanced person, healthy in mind and spirit.

As I glance back at the performance of the children in various activities during the last few academic years, be it curricular, or co-curricular, I can confidently say that our students have certainly made us, parents and teachers proud of their achievements.

We see no substitute for the patient efforts of teacher and student sitting at the table and in regular consultation, learning together.

We are a community of learners, where excellence is a shared pursuit. We learn together in a living community where each of us is a valued citizen with important contributions to make. Our aim and hope are that an SVM School student inculcates an exemplary sense of values, the zeal to excel in academics and sports, and above all, be a good human being.

May you all continue to scale greater and insurmountable heights of excellence. I take this opportunity to congratulate the principal, staff, and students; every effort of the team is highly appreciated who has contributed towards making learning so meaningful.

The Board of Governing Council, the Headmistress, and the school management remain committed to this endeavor.
